TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT – genuine redundancy – ss.389, 394 Fair Work Act 2009 – six applicaions for unfair dismissal remedy – applicants formerly employed in ‘production’ roles – respondent engaged in restructure of operations – number of roles significantly reduced – led to positions filled by applicants being declared redundant – found the respondent made all reasonable efforts to offer redployment options to the applicants in two associated entities – applicants chose not to pursue redployment opportunities for various personal reasons – held dismissals were cases of genuine redundancy – applications dismissed.
