CASE PROCEDURES – representation – ss.394, 596 Fair Work Act 2009 – submission received for permission for paid agent or lawyer to represent applicant – submitted representative’s experience in jurisdiction would assist Commission to ensure it had the most reliable information before it could decide the issues in the case – Commission not satisfied representation would allow matter to be dealt with more efficiently – not satisfied involvement of lawyer or paid agent would assist in efficient resolution – Commission did not take into account the extent to which representative had, on various other occasions, failed to properly represent his clients in matters of this nature or had withdrawn from his involvement in matters involving arbitration shortly before the matter proceeded – permission for representation denied.
